We decided to look at houses on a rainy day visit to Williamsburg in the summer of 2005. We had visited Williamsburg numerous times as tourists and always enjoyed it – to the extent that we thought it would be the perfect place to live as retirees. We met Mary Lou at her office and developed an immediate bond. After discussing the generalities and specifics of what we had in mind, we returned to our home out of state. Over the next several weeks Mary Lou sent us numerous multiple listings and we pared down what we liked or not – and why. As we progressed though the various aspects of looking, selecting, negotiating, and especially at closing we felt we could not have been represented better.
